Playing for Pizza 1-52

Hi guys! Today is that day, when I am doing again my home-reading here, so this post is going to be in English. So I took a new book ''Playing for Pizza'' by John Grisham and I chose this book, because it was at home and my father has also read it and he said that this is a good book. I also liked very much this cover, it was so beautiful.

So, this book talks about one American most famous football team football-player Rick Dockery, who was really wanted in every club. But unfortunately, he gave the worst performance in his league's history and overnight Rick became a laughing stock and unemployable in his own country. Rick's agent tried to find him a job, but it was a little bit hard, because nobody wanted him to play of their club. But somehow Rick's agent Arnie finds im a job, but the only problem is that the only team that wants him is in Parma, Italy. Rick has never been in Italy and he is afraid of that and this country gives him many surprises.

The first 50 pages talk about what Rick feels and how his agent finds him a job. Rick also feels embarrassed and afraid, because it was such a big change in his life to come overnight from wanted good player to unemployable laughing stock.

So, when I finished reading these first 50 pages, I was waiting to read ahead, because I stopped reading in this point, when Rick reached to Parma and to his appartment and in the next day he is going to meet his new teammates and have his first training in his new team.

It was not really hard to read it, because this book does not have very hard vocabulary and it is also easy to read, because the story is going ahead very quickly and it is very interesting, also. I am waiting to read the next chapter.

Bye :)

And this is my book's cover, isn't it really beauty?
