If I Stay 190 to the end

This time I read my book to the end. I'll talk about it a little.

Mia is still in the hospital and has not woken up yet. As her soul, she moves around the hospital and watches different people. Also her best friend Kim comes to see her. She talks to her what they have done in the hospital and Mia knows that all. But she doesn't care. She is so happy, that Kim recounts her day on Mia. She is thinking about, how she wants to remember Kim as telling a funny story, happy, finding little pockets of strength in herself that she had no idea she possessed.

Kim also tells Mia all those people, who have come to see her. She lists them all and tells Mia that she has a point. ''There are like 20 people in that waiting room right now. Some of them are related to you. Some of them are not. But we're all your family.'' It was a very beautiful thought. Kim is a very good friend. Friends like that are not found every day.

Also, Mia's boyfriend Adam comes to see her again. After he had tried to get in for 10 hours, he stays for 10 minutes. This is very hard for Mia. She thinks that Adam doesn't want to see her anymore like this. That he is letting go.

Mia is also remembering how she went to her grandmother to Massachusetts and they had a campfire one night there. Her father and Adam played their songs, and in one moment they took Mia's cello outside and told her to play with them. Mia said no, but then she realised how much it meant to them. So she started playing, and rock'n'roll and classical music didn't sound so bad together.

Finally Adam comes back and tells her to stay. To not go. He tells her that he understands her life will be awful, but he can't stand that Mia is not getting old, having kids, going to Juilliard. He tells her that he is going to do everything if she chooses to stay. He says that he is also able to leave Mia, if it is what she wants. He tells her: ''I can lose you like that if I don't lose you today. I'll let you go. If you stay.'' And then he starts to cry. Mia thinks that this is Adam who lets go now.

Then her life runs through her mind. She understands that the end is close. She gets different memories from her life. Good and bad. Funny and sad. Mia says that she now is back one with her body. She wants to hold Adam's hand. Not just be held by it, but hold it back. So she gives all her strength her grandparents and Kim gave her to that one squeeze. And then Adam feels that. He asks: ''Mia?''

And in that moment the book ended. I was pretty angry, because it was the most thrilling moment of the book. I want to read forward. I have to buy the next book ''Where she went?''.

I think that Mia still chose to stay. She is very done with herself, but I think she starts to build her life all again. And maybe she is going to break up with Adam, because it still hurts her very much. But if she stays, I am very happy. Because she's gone through very hard things and it makes her stronger. She must be very strong person.

So this book is over now. I really liked reading that. It was funny, it was sad and very nice to read. It just wakes you up. It shows that nothing is just given to us. We never know, when something like this may happen. We must appreciate all the people we're given and we have to hold them. I recommend this book to everyone.
