Hi again,
so it's time for my this year last home-reading post. Oh my god, the time has gone so fast this year...
So, about Colin's and Hassan's journeys. As they went to see Archduke's grave, they met girl named Lindsey Lee and as they saw the grave, the other group from France came too. But the main point of beginning is that Lindsey's mother wanted Lindsey to love Colin. But Colin was still sad about Katherine the 19th.
Lindsey got closer to Colin and told him about her problems she had had in middle school. Also Colin and Hassan met Lindsey's mother, Hollis, who told them about her life story and was a funny character with some creepy jokes.
Also I had some alarum-moments, when Hassan had an asthma attack. I have asthma too and it was so funny to read how John Green described Hassan's breathing. I know that voice too good :D
At the end of these 50 pages, Colin and Hassan wanted to stay and worked at Hollis's and Lindsey's home at the city named Gutshot. Colin's parents didn't like this at the beginning, but then they realized that Colin needed it to survive this hard time.
It was a bit disappointing for me to read this time again, because last time I read, wasn't really interesting too to read and I hoped that this time will be more interesting, but...These 50 pages weren't so interesting, because nothing happened then. Some jokes were good, but... I don't know, maybe this book is just not my taste and that's my problem, but I haven't get the book's point yet. Maybe it's too early too, hope so.
Next English home-reading post at autumn, it's 3 months until this :D
